The Role
We are looking for an Art Director to join our team as a visionary, coach, and workhorse in one crucial role. Working directly with the Associate Creative Director, you will be responsible for bringing high-level ideas to life through thoughtful research, impeccable design, cultural savvy, and clear, persuasive storytelling.
You'll be a valuable member of the Global Design Team, supporting both PRIME and Alani Nu brands. Your world is made up of all things social... TikTok, Instagram, advertising, email, and web design. You'll need to have a strong love for typography and the ability to combine photography, motion, and messaging into a clear directive.
Key Responsibilities{{:}}
- Work closely with the Global Creative Director and Associate Creative Director of our Global Brand Team on creating the highest-quality visual content possible.
- Align with the ACD to ensure consistent direction, style, and methodology.
- Embody a positive mindset and enthusiasm to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Collaborate in a team environment and is respectful of the company culture.
- Give insightful and constructive feedback to designers to help grow their creative abilities.
- Perform competitive assessments and provide innovative alternatives as well as research and understand design, marketing, and technology trends.
- Produce storyboards when necessary to visualize ideas and concepts.
- Ensure designs consistently align with the established brand guidelines.
- Continue to learn new tools and techniques that can be applied to your design, typography, composition, and storytelling abilities.
- Can quickly respond and adapt to creative feedback and requests.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excel in managing multiple projects, priorities, and people concurrently.
- Seek information to remain current on media and advertising trends.
- Ability to travel for photo shoots and meetings when needed.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in an agency or an in-house brand team.
- A diverse portfolio that shows a range of advertising, digital, and print work.
- Expert knowledge of art direction, photography, film, graphic design, typography
- Fluent in the full Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Mural, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
