Title: Social Media Freelancer

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, entrepreneurial, professional, passionate, motivated, flexible, resourceful, driven and committed. Position is remote (US-Based only); however, candidates in Los Angeles to receive preference in order to participate in team meet ups on Tuesday.
About you:
- Linkedin and Instagram are our main bread and butter, but the more you know about TikTok, X, Threads, Facebook, and (name of a platform we’re not cool enough to know about yet)... the better!
- You have a creative eye. You can jump onto Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva to whip up your own social magic.
- You’re not afraid of change; you embrace it. Learning and exploring come naturally.
- Able to manage changes to the content calendar and our on-demand social media needs
- You define the word proactive, always thinking (and doing) three steps ahead of everyone around you (e.g., providing social plans one month at a time).
- Solution is your middle name. You’re creative and resourceful – there’s no problem you won’t find a solution to.
- You are quality-focused and always looking to improve

Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Creation: Collaborate with the marketing & creative team to ideate and develop compelling static and video content for LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Content Editing: Receive feedback well and edit content as necessary.
- Content Library: Upkeep and organize our Content Library
- Platform Management: Manage and schedule posts across multiple social media platforms.
- Engagement and Community Building: Engage with the community, respond to comments, and actively participate in building a positive and interactive community.
- Community Monitoring: Stay up to date with partnerships from our community members.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, social media trends, and features on social media platforms and incorporate them into content strategies
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of social media content, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Requirements:
- Great knowledge of social media platforms
- Great knowledge of design programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Insights on paid social
- Communication skills (within the marketing and creative team AND cross functionally)
- Strategy and planning skill
- Experience in photo manipulation, handling Key Art, compositing, and creating a variety of different graphics from scratch
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Must be okay collaborating with the marketing/creative team - THIS POSITION REQUIRES WORKING DURING CERTAIN HOURS AND WORKING CLOSELY WITH THE MARKETING/CREATIVE TEAM
