Director of Marketing
Job Brief
A national leader in the capital campaign and fundraising consulting space, Convergent Nonprofit Solutions is seeking a Director of Marketing to drive brand position and leverage subject matter expertise to drive leads and growth in priority markets. Having recently invested in tech-stack consolidation to HubSpot and redesigning our website, we are positioned for an execution-focused marketing professional to develop, implement, and assess focused marketing strategies to drive lead generation and organizational visibility.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Marketing will need to be comfortable developing strategy, managing its execution, and leveraging necessary internal and external (vendor) resources to deliver results.
The Director of Marketing will oversee advertising, branding, digital marketing, strategic partnerships, conference outreach, and external engagement opportunities to maximize lead generation and brand presence. He or she will aggregate all activities, stay on top of emerging trends, collaborate with teams, and report on marketing metrics for the entire company.
Key Performance Measures:
• Generation of qualified leads
• Growth of engagement with target markets through value-add content creation (whitepapers, webinars, etc.)
• Growth of Convergent’s position as an industry subject matter expert via speaking engagements, etc.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the steward of the Convergent Brand, ensuring continuity organization wide
• Oversee all marketing activity and results reporting
• Coordinate marketing forecasting, budgeting, planning, and process optimization
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and process consistency in all sales and marketing initiatives
• Direct planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the business for target markets
• Oversee marketing agencies and leverage internal resources to achieve desired results
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting of performance measures to GM and Board
• Implementation of marketing plan with a focus on lead generation
• Content strategy and production for all marketing channels
• Public relations to include conference coordination and speaking engagement opportunities
• Oversee creation/updating/designing marketing materials
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic business partners
Qualifications & Experience
• Track record of success in driving marketing generated leads
• Experience with nonprofits and high-value professional services
• Highly adept at utilizing HubSpot to drive lead capture and follow-up
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
