Position Overview: The Senior Director of Marketing Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our company’s business objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement overarching marketing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Define and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
- Brand Management:
- Develop and maintain a strong brand identity and positioning in the market.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Monitor brand performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Digital and Traditional Marketing:
- Drive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
- Oversee traditional marketing channels, such as print, events, and direct mail.
- Leverage data and analytics to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenditures and financial performance to ensure marketing activities are cost-effective.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Present marketing strategies, plans, and performance reports to senior executives and other key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and traditional marketing channels.
