Associate Brand Manager
Hybrid: On-site in Rome, GA (Tues, Wed, Thur)
The Associate Brand Manager role is contributing to the development and execution of brand strategies to drive growth and profitability. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, a passion for consumer insights, strong project management skills, a creative mind, and a collaborative spirit. The Associate Brand Manager will support the Brand Manager in building and maintaining a strong brand identity while delivering exceptional results.
The marketing team operates on a hybrid work model that allows individuals to work remotely on Monday and Friday. The role requires the candidate to be physically present in the Rome, GA corporate headquarters for three days a week when not traveling.
Job Responsibilities:
A. Brand Planning and Development
- Analyze competitive landscape to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential threats.
- Assist in developing and executing comprehensive brand plans aligned with overall business objectives.
- Contribute to brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition development.
- Lead project management of marketing execution to ensure marketing campaign activation is on time and on-budget.
B. Product Development and Launch
- Support the Brand Manager in new product development initiatives from concept to launch.
- Coordinate product launches, including packaging, merchandising, and promotional materials.
C. Marketing Communications and Campaigns
- Contribute to the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (TV, digital, social media, PR, in-store).
- Assist in managing agency relationships and ensuring campaign deliverables meet brand standards.
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI.
- Develop and manage promotional materials, collateral, and selling decks.
- Work with Shopper Marketing and Trade Marketing to develop and execute retail plans.
D. Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Assist in tracking and analyzing brand performance metrics, including sales, market share, and profitability.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate brand performance to stakeholders.
E. Project Management
- Coordinate and manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or related field preferred, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, market research software, data visualization tools).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for consumer insights and understanding of consumer behavior.
