The VP of Philanthropy, Marketing, and Sales oversees key revenue producing functions. The VP is the front-line fundraiser responsible for developing strategies to secure annual, planned giving, and donor-directed gifts and leads efforts to ensure revenue goals are met and the organization’s brand is strong in the community. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP contributes to the overall leadership and direction of Glenmeadow, working as a key partner with the President and CEO to implement the Next Chapter Strategic Plan and successfully conclude a capital campaign in support of a $10.5m renovation project.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- No fewer than five years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience raising funds for nonprofit organizations through individual giving, corporate partnerships, or grants.
- A self-starter with well-developed organizational, time/project management skills who is able to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of giving vehicles, including annual giving, estate planning, planned giving, and major giving. Experience with capital and/or comprehensive campaigns is ideal.
- Experience with customer relations management systems and analytics to advance philanthropic results
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with prospects, donors, and advisors.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Proven ability to build positive relationships quickly, effectively lead by example and influence, and manage and develop staff
- Excellent facilitation, presentation and public speaking skills.
