As Director, Creative Strategy, you will be a key member in both driving and supporting sponsorships, sales, and marketing initiatives through strategic proposal creation across The Female Quotient’s events, content, and all monetizable products. You will develop revenue-generating strategies and programs based on client asks, KPIs, briefs, data, and insights.
Collaboration is at the core of this role as you will work closely with pre and post-sales teams including partnerships, social, account management, research, and leadership.
This role is based in Los Angeles, CA.
Role Responsibilities
Branded Creative Strategy
- Building out the sellable product slate and creating packaged selling opportunities largely focused on digital media and digital content.
- Creating best-in-class sales & partnership proposals, templates, and RFP responses (proactive & reactive) including General Presentations, tentpole development, one-sheets, and case studies.
- Partnering with sales & partnership leads on client meetings, pitches, and breaking into new advertiser categories.
- Creating processes & efficiencies to ensure seamless workflow between sales and supporting teams.
Content Development
- Working with social & design teams on a branded content approach
- (social, website, & email) to allow for better sellable opportunities & capturing new audiences.
- Building out the strategy & framework for commercial partnerships
Process & Project Management
- Creating processes & efficiencies to ensure seamless workflow between sales and supporting teams.
Skills Required:
- Deep knowledge of the media industry, which includes industry marketing and visibility opportunities (major industry events and tentpoles, such as CES, Davos, SXSW, Cannes, Advertising Week, and ANA), as well as digital content companies and products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, be very collaborative, and manage multiple people, deadlines, and partnerships.
- Significant experience in an Integrated Marketing, Sales Marketing, Brand Strategy, Creative Strategy, and/or Branded Content role executing high volume, and/or integrated digital advertising campaigns.
- Publisher experience preferred (specifically at a social-first publisher).
- Perfectionist as it pertains to clarity, cleanliness, and consistency across decks, collateral, creative, and strategy.
- Expertise in Google Slides, and ability to build decks within The FQ, Agency, Client templates.
- Strong understanding of client KPIs, and ability to strategically align The FQ’s products with core KPIs in order to achieve success.
- Fluency in digital media language across all mediums: impressions, CTR, CPM, eCPM, CPV, vCPM, etc.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Excited to further build The FQ’s business, and ability to see and harness the enormous opportunity for growth and scale.
- Passionate about working closely with partners, forming strong relationships, and driving revenue.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Be on the pulse of the marketing and advertising industry, and have a strong understanding of the evolving landscape.
