Bumble is looking for a creative and strategic College Marketing Coordinator to join the team and play a pivotal role in executing creative marketing strategies and managing community engagement efforts for the college's programs and initiatives. This role involves a dynamic blend of creative and social media strategy, community engagement, merchandise management, and operational oversight.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to connect with college audiences, manage the college social media accounts, oversee merchandise strategies, and ensure smooth operational processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community Marketing, you will be instrumental in advancing our Bumble Honey program by focusing on social media strategy and content creation. This role is designed for a creative and strategic individual passionate about building brand engagement through social media platforms. You will work closely with our Honey Ambassador team to develop and distribute compelling communications, merchandise, and design best practices that empower university ambassadors to effectively promote Bumble on their campuses. Your efforts will be crucial in growing the Bumble community, driving grassroots marketing efforts, and innovating new ways to connect with students and expand our reach.
You will oversee the operational aspects of ambassador program management, including the creation and dissemination of materials, tracking and optimizing performance, and supporting the logistical execution of marketing initiatives. Your role will be essential in streamlining processes, managing workflows, and implementing effective strategies to enhance the Bumble community, drive recruitment, and prove out the impact of program efforts.
What you'll be doing- Social Media Strategy & Content Creation:
- Influence and execute social media strategies for the Bumble Honey program and college marketing initiatives, focusing on enhancing brand visibility and engagement, in partnership with the Social Media team
- Produce and manage creative briefs that are tailored to a college audience across various social media platforms
- Develop a content calendar that aligns with marketing goals and ensures consistent and impactful messaging
- Oversee the management of the college’s social media accounts, including monitoring engagement, responding to inquiries, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize content and strategy
- Community Engagement & Ambassador Program Management:
- Support ambassador recruitment and engagement efforts to expand the program’s reach and impact
- Be responsible for project managing key initiatives on the college team, flagship activations and brand events
- Support Senior Manager in influencer and partnerships management
- Foster strong relationships with former program participants, ensuring monthly communication and platform engagement are strengthened and maintained.
- Merchandise Management:
- Develop and execute merchandise strategies that include product ideation, creative briefings, and fulfilment processes
- Ensure that merchandise aligns with brand goals and effectively engages the target audience
- Implement and manage an audience tracking system to oversee the distribution of merchandise and gifts
- Coordinate with campus organizations, influencers, and other stakeholders to execute successful gifting strategies
- Assist in the logistical aspects of merchandise fulfillment, including inventory management, address verification, and order processing
- Operational Oversight:
- Streamline and manage operational processes related to the ambassador program and marketing initiatives
- Ensure efficient workflows, adherence to timelines, and effective execution of marketing strategies
- Work with Creative team to project manage various briefs for events, merch & social
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics for social media, community engagement, and Honey Program initiatives. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators, program impact, and areas for improvement
- Own program recaps, sending ambassador surveys at the beginning and end of the semester to inform program results and KPI tracking
- Handle budgeting and expense reporting for marketing activities
- Management of expense reports, purchase orders, invoices, and contracts as required
About you - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- You have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in Marketing or Social Media Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- You have effective communication and collaboration skills with a knack for creative problem-solving skills
- Experience in budgeting, invoicing, and contract management is preferred
- Collegiate marketing experience a plus
- You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- You are positive and committed with a 'can-do' attitude and a flexible approachYou are a self-starter who thrives on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Base Compensation Range: $55,000 - $61,000. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
