As the Missoni Marketing & Communication Director you will be an integral part of the America's executive team. This role will develop and execute regional strategies in partnership with headquarters, honoring our brand DNA. The marketing and communications director will support all channels of business, retail, wholesale, franchise, club resort, pop ups and e-commerce. You are a professional in the fashion industry who is responsible for promoting the Brand discovery and loyalty. Your focuses are to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition and customer retention. as well as organization and implementation of trade marketing activities directed at driving sales.
In alignment with HQ you will be fully responsible for driving the marketing, communications, PR and events strategies in the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing And Communication
- Develop and implement comprehensive regional marketing strategies and promotional plans to boost revenue, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
- Manage the full P&L for marketing categories, overseeing budgets, to meet financial targets and enhance profitability.
- Lead the rolling brand and product launch calendar, collaborating closely with Product Development and other departments to ensure seamless and effective market introductions.
- Drive continuous analysis and optimization of category performance and SKU productivity, making strategic decisions on product support or discontinuation.
- Utilize advanced analytics to identify growth opportunities in fast-moving categories, deploying targeted strategies to expand market share.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the HQ marketing and merchandising teams, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Champion the brand’s digital marketing regional strategies, utilizing innovative techniques and channels to connect with customers and enhance the consumer experience in partnership with HQ
- Collaborate with digital marketing team and analyze local celebrity and influencer trends to improve the full marketing funnel.
- Oversee & Community Marketing to increase brand awareness, engagement, consideration, and conversion in collaboration with HQ Celebrity and Communication team contribute to developing an effective product placement/influencer strategy.
- Cultivate sponsorships, collaborations & partnerships to help support brand events.
- Develop and execute WHS/ Franchise COOP seasonal strategies
Press
- Identify opportunities for brand exposure, partnerships, and collaborations
- Manage and edit updated press lists for all print, online, broadcast, social media contacts and outlets.
- Maintain PR and collaboration seeding lists; editor, talent, and influencers
- Produce new press lists for events and projects
- Develop pitching strategy for brand stories and press releases to secure media coverage in fashion magazines, newspapers, dailies.
- Identify and foster relationships with editors, stylists, wardrobe stylists, producers, influencers to increase brand awareness and establish relevance.
- Host regional Press-Day
Project and Event Management
- Develop and Manage projects supporting seasonal product goals and product launches, Including sample product ordering/distribution, in-store/ marketing event and product seeding
- Support with creative briefs, campaign shoots, press release, asset production, etc.
Misc
- Constantly deliver innovative ideas/inspirations/novel approaches to help foster conversation and evolution of the brand.
- Monitor competitive brands for insights that could lead to innovations.
- Monitor research for shifts in consumer behavior.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in retail or the sale of luxury goods.
- 7+ years of successful experience in a marketing and communications position.
- High sensitivity to client experience and loyalty.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Adaptability, openness, listening abilities, curiosity.

- Product and Fashion sensitivity, commercial awareness.

- Foreign languages and bachelor's degree are preferred
- Salesforce or other CRM / marketing cloud platforms knowledge will be considered a plus
