As a Social Media Assistant, you'll dive into a range of responsibilities together with our creative in-house team. On the job you will:
- Play a key role with content creation, photography, videography, and video editing for our social media platforms and website
- Utilize and develop your photoshop retouching skills
- Participate in exciting in-store events and cover them on social media
- Play a role in the development of our marketing calendar and provide creative input
- Learn about styling jewelry for photoshoots
- Support our marketing team’s creative campaigns on all digital touchpoints
- Share and archive our best in class photography
- Contribute to our social media strategies and respond to trends
- Dive into community management
- Assist with press inquiries that keep our brand in the spotlight
- Support our marketing initiatives and learn about how they contributes to sales goals
The ideal candidate has previous experience interning or working in marketing - luxury industries a plus. They have worked with a creative team, and are eager to develop a well rounded skill set related to social media, e-commerce, events, PR, and digital marketing. They thrive working in-person with cross functional teams, gaining hands-on experience and supportive training.
The Social Media Assistant works collaboratively with all teams, reporting directly to the Sr. Marketing Manager and Social Media Marketing Coordinator. Skills and qualifications:
- Able to report in-person to work everyday (this is not a remote position)
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom for retouching is a must
- Strong video editing skills is a must - knowledge of Premier Pro is a plus
- DSLR photography experience is a plus
- Have a finger on the pulse of trending topics and social media tools
- Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms (Ex. Later) is a plus
- Strong writing skills
- Punctual - you tend to always be on time
- Has an affinity for luxury and fashion industries, events, and products
- Great organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Sense of teamwork and positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and eager to problem solve and get the job done
- Cares about making a positive impact through their work
AVAILABILITY:
This is a full time, on-site position that requires approx. 1-2 compensated remote weekend hours as needed for social media monitoring and posting
