Job Description:
The Vice President of Marketing at SIMO will play a critical role in driving the company's B2B growth and elevating its brand visibility in the competitive telecom technology landscape. This key leadership position will involve developing targeted marketing strategies, creating impactful marketing materials, managing digital marketing efforts and overseeing both B2B and B2C marketing functions. The VP of Marketing will work closely with the CEO and other cross-functional teams to accelerate customer acquisition, shorten sales cycles and establish a stronger market position for SIMO.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for the B2B sector, focusing on industries such as shipping, retail, logistics, and automotive.
2. Create impactful marketing materials, including case studies and white papers, to showcase SIMO's value proposition across various verticals.
3. Manage digital marketing efforts, particularly on platforms like LinkedIn, to enhance brand visibility among enterprises, telecom operators, and hardware manufacturers.
4. Oversee existing B2C marketing team and build out the B2B marketing function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
5. Identify and develop compelling use cases for SIMO's technology in areas such as retail operations, disaster recovery solutions and multi-network solutions for the maritime industry.
6. Articulate how SIMO's solutions address industry-specific challenges and position the company as a leader in providing connectivity solutions across various scenarios.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field, Master's degree preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the SaaS or cloud service industries.
3. Cross-industry expertise with the ability to understand and communicate SIMO's value proposition across multiple sectors.
4. Strong technical understanding of SIMO's technology and its applications in areas like routers, connected devices, vehicle connectivity, and AI PC connectivity.
5. Proven track record in developing targeted marketing strategies, creating impactful marketing materials and managing digital marketing efforts.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical benefits to diverse business audiences.
7. Strategic thinking and adaptability to quickly understand market new technological developments.
