The Marketing & Event Coordinator at Global Dining Inc of CA will join an important team within the company that executes company strategy & growth for 1212 Santa Monica, La Boheme & new upcoming restaurant openings. The Marketing & Event Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing, Event & Public Relations Manager as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute various events hosted by the restaurant, such as private parties, corporate meetings, birthdays, and special occasions
- Assist clients in selecting menus, beverages, and event services that align with their preferences and budget
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure that menu selections meet client expectations and dietary restrictions
- Manage reservations and event calendars, ensuring efficient use of the restaurant's private dining spaces
- Provide a high level of personal service to clients throughout the event planning process, ensuring their needs are met
- Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids for clients and management
- Work with management teams, Marketing, Event, & PR Manager, CFO, & CEO to assess the current state of marketing for each brand and their objectives, & review current marketing plans
- Assist in Paid Media for Instagram, Facebook, & Google Ads
- Assist in management of social media platforms
- Support with communication and project management of each marketing campaign
- Oversee PR campaign shootings & be onsite to execute them as needed
- Support with copywriting for PR materials (emails, social media, flyers, etc)
- Assist in updating/editing Restaurant Websites as needed (menu updates, new events, etc)
- Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
Reporting
- Identify metrics and criteria for measuring marketing campaigns & promotions that can be analyzed on a monthly basis in a report.
- Manage monthly media placement reports for each property.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or currently studying Marketing/Public Relations, restaurant and/or hospitality experience is preferred.
- A strong passion for the food & beverage industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varied schedule and function effectively within set deadlines
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign)
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and proactive work ethic.
- Ability to attend on-site needs across Santa Monica, West Holywood, and Downtown locations
Compensation
- $65,000 annual salary + 2% commission on private event sales
