As the Director of Lifecycle Marketing, you'll play a critical role in ensuring each customer feels valued at every stage of their journey and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. We are headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, conveniently located in Walker's Point.
Your Mission is to drive customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value by crafting data-driven, personalized marketing strategies across email, SMS, and other channels. This role focuses on optimizing the customer journey, leveraging analytics to enhance customer experiences, and leading initiatives that boost loyalty and revenue.
Expected Outcomes:
Analyze and Combat Churn: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring churn trends and driving initiatives to reduce customer attrition and increase customer lifetime value..
Shape the Customer Journey: Design and optimize personalized lifecycle touchpoints across email, SMS, and beyond, making every interaction with Wantable meaningful.
Expand Our Reach: Lead targeted acquisition campaigns to grow our customer list, especially within the SMS space, and hit revenue targets.
Boost Retention and Loyalty: Develop strategies to foster long-term customer relationships, creating advocates for the Wantable brand.
Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and segmentation to tailor communications that elevate engagement and conversions.
Your Responsibilities:
Retention Analysis & Forecasting: Use customer LTV and churn trends to inform marketing decisions, maximize ROI, and prioritize impactful projects.
Cross-Channel Strategy: Integrate email, SMS, and digital channels to create cohesive, timely messaging that resonates with customers.
Innovative Loyalty Programs: Develop initiatives and lead efforts to build loyalty programs and retention initiatives that keep customers coming back.
Team Leadership: Mentor a talented team of marketers and collaborate with various departments to align lifecycle marketing with broader company goals.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly review campaign performance, customer feedback, and industry trends to refine strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 7+ years in e-commerce or retail (preferably with a DTC brand or retail) with proven success in driving results.
Advanced Analytics: Expertise in segmentation, AI, SQL, predictive models and trend forecasting—using data to drive insights is second nature to you.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in email and SMS marketing platforms, especially if you've worked with Attentive, SailThru, or Klaviyo.
Creative & Analytical: You're both a strategist and a creative thinker—able to craft compelling messages while analyzing performance.
Leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills, with a knack for collaborating across teams and managing projects.
