Social Media Manager
Dr. Idriss, a skincare community-turned-brand founded by award-winning NYC board-certified dermatologist Dr. Shereene Idriss (with 3+M followers!), is looking for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will execute upon a comprehensive social media strategy for brand channels, in collaboration with the Social Media team, the Marketing team, and the Brand Founder.
Hybrid in-office/WFH. This role is based in New York City. This role reports to the Director of Social Media.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the Dr. Idriss social media calendar, ensuring that day-to-day social initiatives are aligned with the brand identity and objectives
- Post to and manage Dr. Idriss brand positioning across all social channels
- Manage engagement with social audience, including comment and direct message moderation/responses
- Work with the Social Media and Marketing teams to develop and manage a quarterly social and content roadmap
- Consistently source on-brand and engaging UGC for Dr. Idriss channels
- Partner with the Creative and Marketing teams to ideate, develop, and produce social-first photo, graphic, and video content
- Measure and report on ongoing social media marketing efforts and track against KPIs, including followers, engagement, reach, etc., identifying areas of opportunity
Our Ideal Nerd:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2+ years of social media marketing experience
- Demonstrated success leading innovative, KPI-driven social media campaigns
- High aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment
- Must be able to manage social platforms outside of typical work hours, including weekends and holidays
