The Position:
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will drive revenue growth, develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, and enhance the company's market position. This role will lead both sales and marketing teams and oversee key functions such as business development, brand management, customer acquisition, and retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the event and rental services industry, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the national sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand into emerging markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with major clients, key accounts, and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies.
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Oversee digital marketing, public relations, content creation, and advertising efforts.
- Manage the company's brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to align marketing efforts with service offerings.
- Analyze market data and customer insights to refine marketing strategies.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to drive growth.
- Lead efforts in contract negotiation and closing key deals.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent Arena Americas.
- Work closely with leadership to ensure sales and marketing align with overall business objectives.
Financial Management:
- Set and manage sales and marketing budgets.
- Track and report on sales and marketing KPIs, adjusting strategies to optimize performance.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and revenue projections to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and improving market share.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building high-performing teams.
- Ability to develop and implement successful go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms.

Educational
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, which may include Safety Management,
- Recognized safety qualification to diploma level.
- Certified Safety Professional
- Minimum ten years’ experience in delivering HSEQ services.
