Position Summary:
The Senior Associate/VP of Investor Relations & Marketing will play a key role in implementing a comprehensive investor relations strategy. The ideal candidate will manage marketing materials and will be involved in all aspects of Investor Relations & Marketing. This position is essential in acting as a bridge between Business Development and investment teams across various strategies to ensure clear communication with investors and potential clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Update PowerPoint presentations with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and making edits efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Prepare and oversee investor diligence requests, such as DDQs (due diligence questionnaires), RFPs (requests for proposals), RFIs (requests for information), and ad hoc inquiries, by highlighting the firm's capabilities and strategies in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute ad-hoc events for investors and prospects, such as annual investor meetings and marketing events, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Coordinate with investment teams and senior management to incorporate their input and ensure alignment with firm objectives in marketing materials.
- Support the planning and execution of fund launches, closings, and fundraising activities, working closely with sales, finance, legal, and investment teams.
- Assist in updating and maintaining website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the company's brand and messaging strategy.
- Manage the company’s LinkedIn presence, including posting updates, engaging with followers, and implementing strategies to grow and enhance the firm's online visibility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations within private markets, investment banking, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance matters related to marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, concise messaging.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining excellent investor experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. A Master’s degree or CFA is preferred.
- All duties and responsibilities will be conducted on-site at the Company office.
Benefits/Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary for this role is $145,000 - $165,000. The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and actual base salary will be determined by several components including but not limited to an individual’s experience, skill set and qualifications.
