MARKETING DIRECTOR
You will establish a north star for HART's brand voice and execute brand marketing and content strategies that drive growth, engagement and loyalty among our customers and new audiences in the United States and globally as we launch new markets. This is a hands-on, collaborative marketing role in an entrepreneurial environment where you will use analytics to strategize campaigns and brand partnerships and also play a key role in the execution of these strategies including design, crafting e-newsletters, copy-writing, and content creation, etc. This person is responsible for cultivating strong cross-functional partnerships across all of our teams, developing tools and structures for communication and reporting. This role reports to (and works closely with) the CEO/CMO and CCO and manages the marketing team.
LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATION
● Oversee reporting tools and communication structure for the marketing channels for daily, weekly, and monthly communication to leadership. ● Lead daily marketing team standups, weekly team meetings, and monthly marketing meetings ● Oversee marketing communication between retail locations and HQ as well as creating and implementing new processes to improve sales and customer experience and evolve alongside the customer. ● Communicate marketing updates, campaigns and product launch timelines and strategist and marketing promotions with Retail and Operations teams. ● Foster a strong feedback loop between team members and departments to help drive successes and support new challenges
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Define, champion and own the HART brand strategy, positioning, editorial POV and voice, aesthetic and standards across all touchpoints and content execution ● Develop vision, strategy, programming plan and oversee execution of visual and print content and activations that sharpen and reinforce our brand values and positioning in the fashion jewelry market ● Develop and own a long-term calendar of campaigns and activations (content, events, strategic integrations) for all of HART that ladder up to our growth goals ● Develop integrated marketing plans, growth and GTM campaigns and original content that resonates with our customers, wholesale accounts, etc and drives tangible business impact and sales ● Oversee email marketing strategies including flows, content and list management and segmentation. ● Define strategy, goals and KPIs for HART social media practice; lead and develop a talented social team that grows high-quality, engaged communities across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and more ● Oversee creative development and content production for HART brand and marketing campaigns inclusive of budgeting, creative development, production, editing and QA ● Organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans including new design updates, app integrations, gift guide/product collections, blog posts, SEO, etc. ● Provide marketing and content direction to Retail and Events Teams regarding HART’s experiential strategy; plan and execute rollout and promotional strategies for events that amplify our brand and overall marketing/content strategies ● Oversee influencer marketing including campaign strategies, budgets and deliverables ● Provide guidance to Sales, Customer Service and Operations teams, ensuring content is brand-aligned and successfully integrated into owned marketing efforts / calendar ● Manage and mentor a team of content creators, social media managers, and more ● Own brand marketing and content budget and ensure resources are allocated strategically ● Own brand and content marketing goal-setting, metrics and reporting; use data-driven insights to uncover growth opportunities and drive marketing ROI Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ● Strategic- Able to develop long-term strategy and plans and balance that with strong day-to-day execution ● Bold, creative storyteller with demonstrated experience building brands and content that have cut through in culture while driving business results ● Empathetic - able to see everything through the eyes of our customers ● Exceptional communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all levels across the organization ● Entrepreneurial - you think like a business owner and ensure the team gets the job done ● Agility - You thrive in a fast paced environment, are confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines ● Results-driven - You have a successful track record of developing brand marketing strategies and plans that deliver results. You foresee roadblocks and develop plans to overcome them. ● Leadership & Influence - ability to build, manage and motivate a team of marketers, social media managers and content creators to deliver results; ● Build strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally Minimum Qualifications ● 8-15+ years experience of brand management, marketing and content creation in the fashion and ecommerce space ● Proven leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working across a wide range of teams and talent to deliver the highest of quality work ● Proven track record in connecting brand with product, growth, lifecycle marketing to deliver measurable business outcomes ● Experience overseeing social media and community ● Graphic Design experience ● Deep experience collaborating successfully with creative teams and brand partnerships ● 4+ years of people management experience with strong strategic thinking with solid business analytic skill & business acumen. ● Customer obsessed and passionate about fashion and accessories ● Exceptional execution and organizational skills, balancing structure and creativity. ● Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt content for different content channels.
