Job Description
The Brand Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our brand strategies and demand generation efforts and the success of marketing initiatives across multiple brands. You will report directly to the Brand Marketing Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive brand activations and creative executions. This position will have the opportunity to shape brand perception, drive customer engagement, and contribute to organizational growth. This role requires a creative thinker with an understanding of content creation, execution and brand management with a passion for building and strengthening brand identities.
This is a hybrid role working out of our Cary, NC headquarters 2 days a week.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media and Online Reputation Management
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and agencies to generate monthly story ideas aligned to brand, product and channel strategies
- Review monthly content delivered by assisting agencies to ensure proper brand tone, post accuracy and timeliness
- Upload creative assets to marketing portals for customer amplification
- Drive Online Reputation Management activations including BrightLocal, Baazarvoice, Consumer Affairs, Social Inquiries, Google Reviews, etc. in collaboration with cross functional teams
Content Marketing and Integrated Marketing Plan Execution
- Assist in the development of quarterly content marketing calendars (blogs, videos, infographics) that are aligned to brand, product and channel strategies
- Brief assisting agencies and internal design teams on content build out needed, review all content for product accuracy and deliver finalized assets to website team or agency partners for online upload and campaign deployment
- Work alongside agencies and cross functional team for execution and approval of campaign strategy creative, ensuring robust coverage optimized for multiple mediums (video, audio, display, social, webinars, website graphics, etc.)
Literature and Sample Creative Execution
- Maintain holistic view of sample, display and literature model line content for all Surface Solutions brands
- Work with internal creative team and agency partners to execute brand and product changes throughout the robust model line of samples, literatures and displays
- Assist channel marketing and sales teams in developing custom materials that will enhance our model line and better serve customers
Video and Photoshoot Execution
- Brief photographers, videographers and internal team members on video and photography needs for creative executions
- Work alongside vendors and internal teams to execute video and photoshoots, including travel to locations across the United States
- Work with legal and safety teams to ensure compliance of video and photography deliverables
- Proof and approve final asset sets
Brand Asset Management
- Manage content and asset uploads to company Digital Asset Management (DAM), ensuring old content is removed and new content is uploaded in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of brand guidelines (fonts, boiler plates, colors) in DAM
- Optimize DAM for customer use and ease of navigation
- Keep brand dropbox organized and up to date in correspondence with predefined filing system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years in content marketing, brand marketing, creative development or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to travel 6-12x per year or as required for internal meetings and events
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies
