Director of Marketing

City Light & Power, Inc. (CLP) is looking to create a dynamic Business Development team to grow all our Companies. The new
Director of Marketing position will spearhead exciting growth to the Company as we expand and grow our current and future businesses. This position will develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans providing the marketing expertise to the team. The
Director of Marketing will promote growth across all business lines.
CLP has built a reputation as an innovative, reliable, and responsive private Utility Development Leader. We support the federal government, military institutions, municipalities, and major utilities across the US, with financing, design, engineering, construction, and ongoing operations and maintenance for electrical transmission and distribution systems, as well as outdoor street, sport, and other recreational lighting.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Lead the creation and execution of an annual strategic marketing and communications plan in collaboration with the VP of BD and executive leadership.
- Campaign Management: Take a lead role in implementing marketing initiatives that support corporate growth objectives, focusing on brand awareness, customer engagement, and market expansion.
- Brand Creation: Work with team to create a uniform brand for all CLP companies and oversee the ongoing expansion of CLP’s media, website, social media channels, and all associated marketing and communications outputs.
- Team Leadership: Develop a small team and oversee the technical partners to grow and develop partnerships to show a return on investment.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with the sales team to align marketing activities and growth of customer base. Manage processes for proposals and communications that highlight CLP’s expertise, experiences and services.
- Event Management: Represent CLP in attendance at networking events, trade shows, community events.
- Performance Management: Ensure the marketing team consistently meets deadlines and delivers high-quality work.
- Budget Management: Develop and maintain marketing budget to maximize investment.
- Proposal Management: Partner with the team to create effective and winning proposals.
- Marketing Material: Manage the creation and distribution of marketing and communications materials, including newsletters, event materials, website content, social media content, brochures and recruiting materials.
- Other duties as assigned to support the overall mission and marketing strategies for the Company.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, business or related field required.
- Eight (8) years of directly related work experience in marketing, branding, internal/external communications
- Five (5) of these years must include serving in a management position with supervisory responsibilities.
- Experienced Writer with creating/editing articles, brochures, annual reports, and/or speeches required. Technical writing and marketing experience preferred.
- Experience creating and developing a Brand and all associated marketing strategies for new companies and divisions required.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated successful experience working with media and other external organizations.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office products and related software
- Web design and SEO experience preferred.
Travel
- 20%-25% travel to locations and external events
Other Requiremements
- You must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
- A valid driver’s license with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy
- You must be able to access Military Bases.

Salary Range
- $100,000-$150,000 based on experience plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
- We reserve the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range based on factors unrelated to sex.
