CONTENT CREATOR

Reporting to the Director of Production, the Content Creator is a full-time position that is primarily based in New York City.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Aid the content department in creating content for digital, social, and broadcast spaces.
- Capture a wide variety of content, from interviews to performances to behind-the-scenes and more
- Working with all camera types, lighting, and sound equipment
- Ingesting, organizing, editing, finishing, and delivering content
Campaign Ideation:
- Work collaboratively with the team to brainstorm new campaign initiatives
- Present ideas and campaigns as needed including pitching in creative ideas
- Pull mood or create example videos to solidify ideas
Shoot Capture & Edits:
- Capture and edit all desired digital content. This includes, but is not limited to, behind the scenes, EPK, event coverage, live action and motion graphic content based on approved creative concepts and strategy
- Edit as needed from these captures for various distribution, keeping in mind best deliveries (both technical and appropriateness) for each format
- Archive and resize footage respectively
- Take initiative to learn new social media video techniques and styles
- Shoot and edit video content with social media delivery practices in mind (frame rate, aspect ratio, etc)
General:
- Plan, prep, and schedule for all equipment uses; alert the team to any specific equipment needs
- Develop relationships with cast, crew, and talent to ensure we can capture desired content
- When directed, pull mood, research, or create rips based on department needs
- Resize and distribute content
- Provide additional support to team members
- Educate interns when applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 3+ years of experience in post-production and content creation, ideally servicing the advertising industry
- High level understanding of the post-production process
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle ambiguity and quickly evolving goals
- Knowledge of collaborating and working alongside clients in advertising setting to meet creative briefs
- Excellent sense of pace and timing, a knowledge for the best way to grab viewers, and a sense for powerful storytelling in as little time as possible
- Ability to turn projects around on tight deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Premiere
- Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Cloud Applications, such as After Effects and Media Encoder
- Ability to collaborate with team members and agency departments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work independently
- Actively seeks solutions to problems
