TITLE: Paid Media Manager
REPORTS TO: Director, Amazon eCommerce
PRIMARY LOCATION: New York Metro Area (primarily virtual, but some in person meetings required)
Job Description:
The Paid Media Manager will lead development of media strategies and advertising campaigns aligned with the brand’s marketing objectives for Amazon and other retail.com accounts
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute media and advertising strategies aligned with the brand’s marketing objectives (includes planning campaigns for Amazon Advertising, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads)
- Create and manage ad content, including text, images, and video
- Optimize ad creative and targeting to improve performance and achieve campaign goals
- Allocate and manage advertising budgets
- Monitor spending to ensure campaigns stay within the budget while maximizing return on investment (ROI)
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms for campaigns
- Optimize keyword targeting to enhance ad visibility and relevance
- Monitor and analyze the performance of media campaigns using Amazon’s reporting tools and analytics
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and cost-per-click (CPC)
- Utilize Amazon’s targeting options, including demographic, behavioral, and contextual targeting, to reach the right audience segments effectively
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4-6 yrs of agency or client-side Hands on Keyboard search expertise
- In-depth knowledge of paid search platforms and Seller Central
- Experience with keyword research, ad copywriting, and landing page optimization
- Demonstrated expertise across all aspects of retailer paid search with the ability to set up and run campaigns independently
- Skilled at planning and managing budgets
- Prior experience with tech providers (ideally Pacvue, Helium10, Jungle Scout, etc.)
- Ability to engage with cross functional teams and discuss campaign strategy, weekly performance calls, campaign reviews, etc.
- Clear and concise communicator with the ability to create and present compelling performance narratives across a wide set of data
- Deep understanding of retail readiness as well as additional paid and organic drivers of success (operations, promotions, content, programmatic, off-platform media, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a primary virtual work environment, with the ability to be present as needed for periodic meetings in the NY Metro area
- Operates with curiosity, a “win together” mentality and a commitment to accountability for results
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Working knowledge of programmatic retail media (Amazon DSP, Walmart Connect, Target/Roundel, Criteo Retail Media, TTD, etc.)
- Direct, hands-on experience with planning, creating, managing, and measuring programmatic retail media campaigns, as well as Google search, Google Pmax, and paid social media (Meta, Tik Tok) campaigns
- Understanding of how to plan and measure off-platform media activations driving to eRetailer sites
- Experience with planning and executing Shopper Marketing programs and/or coordinating with Shopper Marketing teams
- Working or advanced knowledge of Amazon Marketing Cloud and other various data clean rooms

Salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and incentive plan. The base salary hiring range for this position is $105,000 -$115,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
