Western Spirits, a leading national beverage alcohol company, is seeking a creative and strategic marketing professional to build and lead a nimble, out-of-the-box marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence product and brand development, digital strategy, and campaign execution across both traditional and non-traditional marketing channels. The role includes driving digital strategy, experiential marketing, KPI management, and data analysis, as well as overseeing various marketing initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of innovative marketing strategies that break away from traditional approaches, with a focus on guerrilla, grassroots, and non-traditional marketing tactics.
- Drive the marketing strategy for a diverse and dynamic portfolio of beverage alcohol brands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and distribution, to ensure alignment on brand positioning and campaign execution.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media, online advertising, and influencer partnerships.
- Oversee KPI management and leverage data analytics to optimize marketing performance.
- Innovate and create experiential marketing opportunities that resonate with the target audience.
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute high-impact campaigns across multiple platforms.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing roles, particularly within beverage alcohol or similar industries.
- Expertise in guerrilla and grassroots marketing, with a passion for thinking outside the box and taking bold, creative approaches.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and experience in managing both traditional and non-traditional campaigns.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in KP| management and using data to drive marketing decisions.
- History with an advertising agency or experience in the marketing division of a beverage alcohol company is required:
- In-depth knowledge of the alcohol category is essential, with experience representing alcohol brands being a plus.
- No degree is required, but a strong background in marketing is essential.
