Job Title: Business Development and Marketing – Projects Manager

Growing Law Firm is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager to join their team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management and Leadership of Marketing Initiatives
- Lead and manage comprehensive marketing and business development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and alignment with firm objectives.
- Oversee the calendaring of submission deadlines, preparation of submissions, and coordination with partners for profiling the firm’s success in industry rankings such as Chambers, Legal 500, Who's Who Legal, Super Lawyers, and Best Lawyers.
Rankings and Directory Submissions
- Create a list of all industry ranking opportunities with their respective submission deadlines.
- Strategically manage and improve the firm’s rankings across all relevant legal directories by ensuring high-quality submissions.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to accurately represent their expertise and recent successes in submissions.
Event Management and Promotion
- Plan, coordinate, and execute firm events, managing logistics, invitations, RSVPs, and vendor contracts.
- Maintain an up-to-date events calendar and ensure promotional materials reflect the firm’s brand consistently during these event opportunities.
Public Relations and Media Management
- Work with outside consultants and experts to develop a proactive media strategy, crafting and distributing content such as press releases and spotlight articles that highlight firm achievements on LinkedIn, Website, and client e-mails, etc.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors and consultants to create and use the firm website and other media outlets to enhance the firm's public profile.
Website and Digital Content Management
- Project lead outside vendors to regularly update the firm’s website and LinkedIn page with engaging content, optimizing for SEO and enhancing user experience.
- Monitor and report to the firm leadership on web analytics to gauge content performance and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
Social Media Strategy and Engagement
- Do an RFP of outside vendors who can help develop and implement a dynamic social media strategy to increase engagement and firm visibility.
- Work with the consultants and vendors to monitor social media performance and adapt strategies to maximize impact.
Graphic Design and Visual Content Creation
- Source, conduct RFP, and work with outside vendors to design compelling visual content for both digital and print media, ensuring alignment with the firm’s branding guidelines.
Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Email Marketing
- Manage the CRM database to enhance client communication and engagement.
- Design and implement targeted email marketing campaigns, analyzing performance to refine future strategies.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives
- Partner with the DEI committee to develop and promote initiatives that reflect the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Branding and Rebranding Initiatives
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the firm’s branding strategy to ensure consistency and market relevance.
Client Relations and Business Development
- Sit with each partner to develop custom annual plans, lead efforts, help partners take steps and expand client development efforts, identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, JD, or advanced marketing degree preferred. Member of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) preferred.
- Proven experience in marketing and business development within a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, taking responsibility and accountability for outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
