Position Overview
The VP of Marketing will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to scale existing channels and launch new ones. This role involves building a high-performing team, crafting a content strategy focused on whitepapers, and optimizing our marketing funnel to improve MQL to SQL conversions, driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
• Develop and implement a multi-channel marketing plan aligned with company goals.
• Scale current channels like events and sponsorships to boost brand visibility and lead generation.
• Explore and evaluate new marketing channels for lead generation.
Team Building and Management:
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a marketing team of 3–4 members.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Content Strategy:
• Create a content plan centered on whitepapers, case studies, and industry reports.
• Position Lawtrades as a thought leader in the legal tech space.
Demand Generation and Funnel Optimization:
• Design campaigns to drive high-quality MQLs using digital marketing, SEO/SEM, email, and ABM.
• Optimize the marketing funnel to improve MQL to SQL conversion rates through analysis and A/B testing.
• Utilize marketing automation tools to track performance and refine strategies.
Collaboration and Alignment:
• Work closely with sales, product, and executive teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Ensure consistent messaging and integration of marketing efforts across all departments.
Budget and Performance Management:
• Manage the marketing budget for optimal resource allocation.
• Establish KPIs aligned with sales targets and report on marketing performance.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 8+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in scaling marketing efforts and driving revenue growth.
- Experience developing content strategies with a focus on whitepapers.
- Skilled in optimizing marketing funnels and improving MQL to SQL conversions.
Skills:
• Strategic thinker with the ability to implement long-term marketi

• Proficient in data analysis for informed decision-making.
• Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
