Job Summary
The Marketing Generalist will be responsible for crafting and executing retail media campaigns across various Retail Media Networks, including paid search and display.
This role will manage promotions to drive profitable growth and customer loyalty, collaborating closely with both the Marketing and Sales Leadership teams to align business plans and marketing opportunities.
The ideal candidate will oversee omnichannel consumer experiences while monitoring and optimizing campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and measure retail media campaigns and promotions to ensure efficient content, execution, and activation aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Evaluate and modify promotion or retail media programs to enhance outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams to align retail media efforts with value propositions, plans, and goals, ensuring marketing offerings support the customer.
- Handle complex issues independently, escalating only the most critical matters to appropriate staff.
- Supervise channel performance, track key metrics, and serve as the feedback loop from sales and customers to improve initiative efficiency and return on investment.
- Identify opportunities for additional customer profitability and brand growth, leveraging deep customer knowledge.
- Act as a project manager to ensure timely execution of key customer and channel initiatives based on business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 4+ years of marketing experience, with proven expertise in strategic marketing plans that drive customer growth.
- Experience engaging directly with customers to achieve a positive impact.
- Experience executing retail media campaigns and/or promotions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pacvue system for managing retail media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of Retail Media Networks, including platforms like Walmart Connect and Albertsons Media Collective.
- Demonstrated success in optimizing campaign performance and driving profitability.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in omnichannel consumer journeys.
- Strong analytical skills to track and improve promotional efficacy and return on investment.
