The Digital Marketing Specialist at Colleen Rothschild Beauty is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with a primary focus on promotional email, website assets, SMS, digital advertising, and loyalty program strategy. This role requires
a strategic thinker with a balance of strong analytical skills and
a creative eye for design and content. The ideal candidate should possess excellent project management skills and be able to manage the entire asset development process while optimizing campaign performance through data-driven insights. The Specialist will also oversee segmentation strategies, flow email management, and loyalty program initiatives, ensuring a high-performing customer experience across all digital touchpoints.

- Strong experience in email and SMS marketing, including strategy, segmentation, and execution.
- Proficiency in Klaviyo (or similar email platforms) and SMS marketing tools.
- Solid understanding of CRM and loyalty/membership marketing. Experience with Yotpo or similar loyalty program software is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Asset Development & Coordination
- Design Brief Creation: Develop clear and concise creative briefs for the graphics department, outlining requirements for digital assets such as emails, SMS, social media posts, website banners, and digital ads.
- Asset Management: Oversee the production process from brief to execution, collaborating with the art department, e-commerce, and marketing team members to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital and physical materials adhere to the brand’s visual identity, messaging, and tone to maintain consistency across all channels.
- Accuracy & Quality Assurance: Review all materials for accuracy, brand compliance, and strategic alignment before publication or dissemination.
- Stakeholder Dissemination: Implement assets into Klaviyo, the website, and other digital platforms while managing the digital asset library.
Email, SMS, and Campaign Performance Monitoring
- Execution in Klaviyo: Based on the master calendar, manage the scheduling and execution of email and SMS campaigns from setup to deployment.
- Segmentation Strategy: Develop and implement segmentation strategies for targeting customer personas and behavior-based triggers to enhance engagement and personalization.
- Flow Email Management: Oversee the strategy and execution of all flow emails, including post-purchase sequences, win-back campaigns, and cart abandonment flows.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Use analytics to monitor and optimize campaign performance based on KPIs such as customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on campaign performance, offering insights and actionable recommendations.
- A/B Testing & Continuous Improvement: Implement A/B testing to optimize clickability, engagement, and conversion rates, ensuring ongoing improvement to maximize ROI.
Loyalty Program Strategy
- Develop & Execute Programs: Lead the creation and deployment of loyalty programs, including defining goals, customer segments, benefits, and rewards.
- Value Proposition & Engagement: Create compelling value propositions and leverage the community to enhance reward experiences and drive customer loyalty.
- Strategic Alignment: Align loyalty program strategies with long-term business goals and customer needs, ensuring seamless integration with other initiatives.
- Promotional Tools: Design and execute comprehensive promotional strategies, including paid media, on-site signage, targeted emails, and other communications to drive loyalty program engagement.
Required Skills & Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of digital marketing experience.
- Strong knowledge of email, SMS, and loyalty marketing best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- DTC experience (beauty industry experience is a plus).
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to develop concepts that align with brand and business goals.
- Agile and able to pivot quickly to meet evolving needs.
Job Location:
