Job Overview
The Creative Manager will be responsible for supporting the event design process from initial concept, through sourcing and execution. In this Creative Department role, they will collaborate our account and event production teams to identify client needs. They will assist in identifying event identity and graphic opportunities throughout and will be expert in adhering to the clients’ brand guidelines across platforms. Additional responsibilities include site inspections, floorplan layouts, supplier sourcing, managing timelines and identifying design trends.
Job Accountabilities
Client Vision Clarity: Engage with clients through insightful questioning to understand and refine their vision for events, ensuring alignment with their goals.
Creative Vision Development: Develop and communicate a compelling creative vision for events, focusing on excellent aesthetics and overall design direction while ensuring that all designs adhere to budget parameters and timeline, inspiring and guiding the program team.
Innovative Design Execution: Generate innovative ideas and concepts that enhance the event’s visual impact,
ensuring all design elements are thoughtful and on-brand.
Partner and Resource Awareness: Research and establish partnerships with decor vendors, ensuring access to quality resources that contribute to the event's aesthetic and design objectives.
Graphic and Branding Support: Create graphics for events and assist in developing internal brand and marketing materials, ensuring that all visual elements align with the company's creative direction and standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Identifies and communicates clients’ design goals and maintains relationships
- Curates event graphics and branding packages
- Coordinates and collaborates with the team to determine budget and labor requirements
- Attend, participate, and advise in production and planning meetings.
- Liaise closely with team to manage deadlines on all graphics related deliverables
- Support in event design from creation of mood boards, style boards, concept boards, sourcing, and floorplan development
- Maintain close communication with Account Managers to adjust graphics and design concepts throughout the contracting phase
- Maintain deadlines through strict adherence to internal timelines and works closely with team to develop reasonable timelines for deliverables
- Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff, hotel representatives, venue staff, clients, and partners

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years in industry work) in graphic design, fine arts, interior design, or other related fields
- Minimum (2) years experience in graphic design
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in spatial planning and floorplan management systems
