Head of Marketing

MacGregor Black is partnering with an Independent Beer Brand on the search for a Head of Marketing. This is a Permanent position that can be based in any major city in the United States, with a strong preference for Chicago, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the brand’s vision and growth objectives across North America.
- Drive brand awareness and consumer engagement through innovative campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, and experiential marketing.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships, particularly in the sports sector, to enhance brand visibility and connect with target audiences.
- Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of marketing efforts with sales goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
- Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging that reflects the brand's heritage and values while appealing to the U.S. consumer.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the beverage industry, particularly beer.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand growth and consumer loyalty.
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a focus on digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Strong ability to build and manage partnerships, especially in the sports sector, to enhance brand presence and engage consumers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed marketing decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing and developing marketing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for storytelling and brand messaging.
