Who You Are:
The Senior Business Manager has 5+ years of experience and is ready for a role that positions them at the center of the action - both with the client and the internal Chiat team.
You will own various strategic workstreams, driving projects forward autonomously with oversight from a Business Director. You will be responsible for building the project path and managing project development from strategy to execution with a strong ability to recognize a project's impact on the overall client business and TBWA's body of work.
Your clients love you and your teammates can't live without you. You proactively move projects forward and improve the process, but also offer a strategic perspective because of your deep understanding of the client's business needs.
You have mastered the art of "storytelling" and can develop and confidently present a compelling argument. You present information in a way that is easily understood and are clear with prescribing actionable feedback and next steps.
As you develop in this role, the Senior Business Manager will also start to flex the muscles that will prepare them for a Business Director role – command of the business, command of the room, mastery of debate, and motivation of the army.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
The Senior Business Manager will establish close client relationships, lead client and internal meetings, and partner and collaborate with Project Management to make sure the work is delivered on time, on brief and on budget. The SBM will also be responsible for tracking all client approvals, trafficking finished work, and managing the final assets.
- Strong ability to develop, manage, coordinate, and implement integrated social media and/or partnership-driven campaigns from client business objectives.
- Leads campaigns with a social mindset – has a love for social media, understands the landscape, fluent in what's going on in culture
- Understands the account, the client's and competitors' business, and the process well enough to have answers to most client questions in the moment
- Oversee monthly finance updates and production budgets. Ensure approval of estimates before starting jobs. Support reconciliations.
- Articulate point of view on work. Can formulate a strong POV on deliverables and understand how to bring together different workstreams in a cohesive way.
- Ensure projects have clear objectives, timelines, ownership, and deliverables.
- Have articulate conversations with clients to manage feedback to get our best work through.
- Work closely with strategy to identify emerging trends to drive innovation. Monitor the competitive landscape to see what other brands are doing.
- Is comfortable bringing together IAT partners, vendors, and clients to form a unified vision

Location:
Given the nature of our Business team and the client assigned to this role, we are only considering candidates who currently live in or wish to relocate to New York City, in the near future (first 60 days of employment).
The annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$110,000 and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic location and experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable.
