As a creative designer on our team, you will play a crucial role in honing our brand look and feel on social. You’ll work hand in hand with a social media manager to craft compelling and relevant content for our pages. This is a great opportunity to show off your design chops and help build our social media presence from the ground up. Bonus points for being chronically online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging visual content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Design eye-catching graphics, infographics, and animations that align with our brand guidelines and messaging.
- Assist in developing social media campaigns that effectively communicate our products and services to target audiences.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media and design, ensuring our content remains relevant and innovative.
- Edit and optimize images and videos for online use, ensuring high-quality presentation across all channels.
- Support the team in brainstorming creative concepts and ideas for new campaigns and content initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous social media content work.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other relevant tools.
- Thorough understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
