Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
As a Marketing Assistant, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team responsible for supporting the marketing, growth, and communications initiatives for Modera, including:
- Assist with proofreading and branding review of marketing collateral; managing requests for company logo; event planning and client gifting; and the onboarding of new employees.
- Help create and maintain website bios and other marketing collateral.
- Maintain marketing calendar, which includes events, social posts, articles, white papers, advisor presentations, and sponsorships.
- Assist with social media management of the Modera LinkedIn and Facebook corporate pages and provide support to advisors with LinkedIn content.
- Create and maintain client lists and distribute communications across various channels.
- Assist with maintaining and updating marketing data in Modera's CRM.
- Work with Finance team to develop and maintain expense policies related to gifting and client entertainment.
- Liaise with marketing vendors, including the online portal for direct purchase of branded supplies; provide oversight on marketing expenses; and review monthly sheets from Finance team.
Qualifications for this position:
- Associate degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent work experience required.
- 0-4 years of experience in a registered investment advisory firm or financial services field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly professional team player, able to work well with all levels of the firm.
- Must be organized, meticulous, dependable, adaptable, detailed and service-oriented and able to multitask.
- Personable, warm, engaging; supports a team environment.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Occasional travel may be required.
