Overall Responsibility
The Digital Marketing Manager is a key role within our organization, tasked with leading 360 marketing efforts across various channels, including but not limited to Social, Influencers, CRM, Website, SEO, SEM, and Paid Media. As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute integrated marketing plans aimed at enhancing brand awareness, increasing engagement and purchase intent, driving sales, and fostering customer loyalty and retention. Reporting to the Digital Growth Marketing Director, you will work collaboratively with the larger Marketing team and oversee agency partnerships, ensuring that all marketing activities are cohesive, impactful, and aligned with Pete & Gerry’s LLC’s strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
Play a pivotal role in developing and executing PGO’s 360o marketing and media strategy, partnering closely with Brand Marketing to develop campaign and creative agency briefs for upcoming initiatives.
Lead the planning, activation, and measurement of integrated marketing plans, delivering on full funnel objectives.
Manage execution of digital efforts, including writing copy for emails, SMS, and website content, ensuring all messaging is consistent with brand voice and business objectives.
Serve as the primary project manager for the digital marketing team, overseeing all projects from conception through to completion, ensuring flawless execution.
Collaborate with the web development team to optimize the company website and content for user experience, engagement, conversion, and search engine visibility. Oversee the development of landing pages for marketing campaigns.
Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and technological advancements to continually refine and adapt our marketing efforts.
Data & Analytics
Monitor organic and paid campaign performance, identifying actionable insights to optimize digital marketing efforts to ensure we exceed internal KPI goals.
Lead marketing performance reporting, delivering monthly and quarterly analyses to inform ongoing decision making and strategy, and demonstrate business growth.
Focus on lifetime value metrics, ensuring that marketing strategies contribute to long-term customer engagement, loyalty, and brand growth.
Team and Agency Collaboration
Manage relationships with external agency partners to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives and executional excellence.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the larger marketing team, facilitating strategic alignment and informed decision-making.
Who You Are
- 5-7 years digital marketing experience at a CPG brand.
- Ability to create and execute 360 marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing tactics.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns from conception to completion.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and oversee a team effectively.
- Proficiency across digital channels (social media, SEO, SEM, CRM, website, and paid media).
- Knowledge of industry trends, tools, and best practices.
- Skilled in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI) to track, interpret, and report on campaign performance.
- Capable of extracting actionable insights to inform ongoing strategy, optimize KPIs, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Skilled in writing brand-aligned, engaging copy for emails, SMS, websites, and other digital channels.
- Familiarity with SEO principles to enhance content effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating across teams.
- Ability to foster a collaborative team environment that drives results.
