Job Overview
Lazarus AI is looking for a transformative Head of Marketing to build and lead our marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the VP of Growth, you will define our market positioning and drive growth, while collaborating closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Business Operations teams. As the first marketing hire, your impact will shape the trajectory of Lazarus AI and help cement us as a leader in the fast-evolving foundation model and machine learning space.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Build and execute a holistic marketing strategy to target and nurture the right leads. Own the go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements.
- Idea Generation: Build and scale the Lazarus AI brand through high-end marketing ideas like media, PR, events, and partnerships that grow our presence and establish credibility.
- Product Marketing: Lead the creation and execution of product marketing plans, ensuring product positioning is aligned with our vision and resonates with customers.
- Sales and Implementation Enablement: Partner with the Sales and Business Operations teams to develop high-impact sales collateral, including presentations, sales playbooks, and other resources to accelerate pipeline growth, conversion rates, and customer onboarding.
- Content and Thought Leadership: Develop technical content such as whitepapers, case studies, blogs, and videos that articulate the value Lazarus AI's Foundation Models bring to the industries they serve. Establish Lazarus as a thought leader in AI and ML through insightful and innovative content.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in marketing or strategy & operations
- Experience in a ML, AI, or technical solution environment that sells to CIO, CPO, CTO organizations
- Possess the ability to comprehend and communicate technical information
- Startup experience with ability to scale org from Seed Stage to Series D+
- Highly organized and structured in your approach to work, with a focus on creating repeatable processes and frameworks that can scale
- Proven track record of building marketing strategies from scratch and scaling marketing functions
- Experience launching products and leading go-to-market strategies that deliver measurable business results
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
