Summary
The Senior Director, Brand Marketing is responsible for collaborating with the CMO to develop the marketing strategy for the brand, new product launches and core products, and partner closely with cross functional teams such as Creative, Sales and Digital, to drive execution. In addition, the Senior Director will lead Trade Marketing across Sephora, Ulta and our Salon retailers. The Senior Director will also drive Briogeo’s Philanthropy and Sustainability efforts.
Role + Responsibilities
Create marketing strategy and 360 plans driven by data and consumer insights that support short and long-term business objectives, driving sell-out and market share gain.
- Lead Marketing calendar alignment with cross functional partners
- Partner with the Creative team to develop and deliver creative assets to support 360 campaigns
- Ensure Marketing strategy is executed cohesively across channels in partnership with Sales, Digital, Consumer Engagement (PR/Social/Influencer) and Creative teams
- Evolve strategy and plans as needed to drive relevancy and desirability
- Lead cross-functional team in hind-sighting post-campaigns, landing on actionable insights + recommendations for the future across channels
- Lead consumer-facing event execution
- Share NA Marketing strategies with international team to help drive global alignment
- Lead business analysis, working closely with direct report
Lead team responsible for Trade Marketing, primarily focused on Specialty Retailers (Sephora and Ulta) and Salon (BSG and SalonCentric)
- Build best-in-class relationships with retail marketing partners, developing differentiated marketing support based on retailer core consumer and needs
- Partner closely with Sales and Creative teams on Visual Merchandising strategy and execution, aligned with brand, consumer and product priorities
- Partner with Sales team to create materials for strategic retailer meetings
- Partner closely with Field and Sales team on Retailer events
Lead team responsible for Philanthropy and Sustainability strategy and execution. Ensure Sustainability deliverables are aligned with Retailer and company goals
In partnership with the CMO, help identify and execute strategic partnerships and collaborations
Proactively identify opportunities to improve process and ways-of-working, collaborating with CMO + leadership to provide solutions
Develop and coach direct reports to maximize their potential, ensuring high productivity and engagement
Support the evolution of Brand Positioning and Identity as needed, and ensure Brand Pillars are consistently followed across channels

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years brand management experience, preferably in Beauty
- Deep experience planning and leading execution of 360 marketing plans
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, and collaborate successfully with cross-functional partners
- Strong analytical, oral, written and presentation skills
- Previous experience in Beauty, and with Sephora and Ulta, highly preferred
- Must demonstrate strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Thrives in an environment that is extremely fast-paced, rapidly changing, and consumer-centric

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Briogeo / Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $175,000 - 185,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include an annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
