The Social Media Specialist will be instrumental in driving the company's social media presence and fostering an engaged community around the Delta Beverages brand. This role involves leading the strategy, execution, and day-to-day management of the company’s social media platforms, driving customer retention efforts, and engaging with both the direct-to-consumer (DTC) and wholesale audience. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, data-driven marketer, and proactive community builder passionate about cultivating meaningful connections with our audience. Roles and Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Develop & Execute Strategies: Create and implement social media strategies across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) that enhance brand awareness and drive engagement. Content Scheduling & Posting: Collaborate with the Creative team to create and post organic content that aligns with brand messaging, tone, and goals. Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics to optimize strategies and increase engagement. Daily Monitoring: Respond promptly to messages, comments, and interactions. Ensure community engagement is positive and meaningful. Community Engagement & Advocacy: Customer Interaction: Monitor and respond to community interactions (comments, messages, tags) to foster a positive and inclusive brand experience. Campaign Development: Create and manage community initiatives such as giveaways, contests, and interactive posts to encourage participation. Social Listening: Use tools & SaaS (e.g. Sprout Social) to participate in and influence conversations relevant to the industry or brand. Content Creation & Collaboration: Collaborate on Original Content: Work with the Creative team to develop and execute photo and video shoots for events, product launches, and other live content. Local Influencer Collaboration: Engage with local influencers, media personalities, and community events to create partnerships and increase brand visibility. Cross-Team Communication: Regularly communicate findings, insights, and trends to the Marketing and Creative Directors. Share updates with other departments as needed. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization: Metrics Analysis: Review performance metrics and identify trends, spikes, or dips using tools like Sprout Social. Paid Media Correlation: Work with the paid media team to track the impact of paid campaigns and optimize based on social performance. Reporting: Generate weekly reports, sharing relevant findings with the Marketing team for ongoing improvements. Campaign and Influencer Program Support Campaign Planning: Contribute to the long-term social media campaign calendar, aligning it with overall marketing objectives. Influencer Management: Assist in identifying, managing, and nurturing relationships with influencers and collaborators that align with the brand’s values. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4-5 years of experience in social media management or community management, preferably in the beverage or consumer goods industry. Proficiency with social media platforms, tools, and SaaS analytics (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Insights etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with influencer marketing and paid social media advertising. Basic graphic design and video editing skills. Experience in the beverage, cannabis, or food & beverage industry. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and email marketing tools.
