The Consumer Experience Marketing Assistant provides centralized administrative support for the Estate, including maintaining the integrity of the consumer database, attending to club member needs, and providing an elevated customer service experience. This role also functions as a resource to the Brand Team in completing tasks that support brand building initiatives and wholesale support for the Estate.
What You Will Do:
Consumer Experience 60%
- Develop and maintain brand loyalty through timely responses to member inquiries via phone, SMS, and email. You'll represent the Wine Club, building relationships with members on-site. You'll manage wine shipments, process orders, and handle special requests with precision. Your role includes assisting with experience reservations, responding to event inquiries, and managing order fulfillment. You'll support outbound calling campaigns, assist with membership processes, and ensure compliance with shipping regulations. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional partners, event assistance, and database maintenance.
Marketing 40%
- Support brand-building initiatives and Associate Brand Manager with various projects. Engage in the Scrum/Agile process, you'll conduct data pulls, provide analysis, and develop insightful recommendations. Your keen eye for identifying brand trends and business drivers will be essential in forwarding information and making data-driven recommendations. By offering actionable consumer insights, you'll help address key strategic questions. You'll also support consumer-facing marketing programs on both local and national levels, coordinate marketing materials and product samples for various teams, and partner with commerce, drive, and sales planning to keep the field updated on brand developments.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 1 years of hospitality, communications, marketing, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of communications, hospitality, communications, marketing, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Skilled in the use of MS Outlook at an intermediate level.
- Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to lift and move cases of product weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Required to be 21 years of age or older.
- Required to travel to various winery sites within the region based on business need.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of hospitality, communications, marketing, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of communications, hospitality, communications, marketing, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Wine sales or Wine club administration experience.
- Wine Industry knowledge.
- Experience with software programs such as Ship Compliant, Wine Club Manager, E-Winery Solutions Ellipsis or member databases/related systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Compensation:
- Hiring hourly range: $27.84 - $41.78/hour
- Plus quarterly commission incentive!
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
