MARKETING DIRECTOR
We're looking for a world class Marketing Director who will be responsible for the development and oversight of comprehensive event marketing strategies that elevate the brand, create awareness and drive attendance.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director to lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for all USA events (6 in 2025). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of event marketing and brand building, particularly within the world of sports entertainment. This role requires a highly organized, strategic thinker who understands how to market large-scale events and has the ability to develop partnerships that align with our mission to revolutionize the sport.

- $120,000 - $144,000 + benefits including a 15% bonus!

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Strategic Event Marketing
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies that promote our events, grow brand awareness, and attract new audiences, with a focus on building a younger, diverse fan base and creating excitement around the tour format.
- Create compelling marketing campaigns to attract new and diverse audiences to events, aligning to target audience segments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Oversee the collaboration between internal teams (including the ticketing, social media and PR), host venues and external agencies (including the event management company marketing team) to ensure cohesive execution across all platforms and channels.
- Event specific - while the candidate will not be responsible for executing the logistical aspects of the events, they will work closely with the internal event delivery team and external event management company to ensure the marketing vision is reflected in the event’s atmosphere and on-site experience.
Messaging and Asset Management
- Develop key messaging and briefing of the creative studio on marketing requirements.
- Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all event touchpoints.
- Identify opportunities for Team/Player integration to support campaigns and work with Team Marketing to deliver.
Budgeting & Resource Management
- Oversee the marketing budget for all USA-based events, ensuring that promotional efforts are cost-effective while delivering high impact.
Reporting
- Analyze effectiveness and post event reviews to define successes and learnings that can be taken forward into future events.
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN….
- Campaigns: Demonstrable experience in delivering strong results for marketing campaigns for live event / ticketed events e.g., sport, concerts, festivals etc.
- Insights: Experience using consumer insight and data as a springboard to drive and enhance plans
- Team leadership: Experience leading a multi-agency team and cross-functional internal team to build ambitious marketing plans. Including agency management to unlock best performance.
- Time management: Managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative thinking: Developing unique concepts that stand out in a crowded market.
- Cost management: Experience with creating and sticking to budgets and delivering cost-effective strategies without sacrificing quality.
