About The Role
We're in search of a new team member that will be part of our Events & Experiences team within our People organization, reporting to our Sr Manager of Events & Experiences Experience.
This team promotes belonging, ensuring operational excellence, and providing a seamless employee experience while creating memorable and meaningful connections through events that are both in-person and virtual. This role will manage end-to-end event execution, from initial concept to post-event evaluation. They will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day event operations, and travel coordination. They will work with a team of employees, many cross-functional partners, as well as, vendors, and contractors.
Our ideal candidate is adept in sourcing, vendor management, project management, and delivering outstanding customer service. Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration across departments, ensuring every event aligns with our company's vision, culture, and strategic goals.

- You will work cross-functionally to create a portfolio of events for Glassdoor employees
- Work collaboratively with employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage and operate as a super-user within our event and experience saas platforms.
- Design operational strategies for supporting a variety of hybrid events and ensure that virtual employee support and experience is top of mind.
- Design events and experiences that incorporate best practices in the industry; along with independent research to bring Glassdoor's culture of belonging and brand to the forefront.
- Responsible for the management of vendor service contracts, periodic and ongoing performance & financial review, conducting RFP's, and assuring performance of each service provider.
- Be able to evaluate software and integrate new programs to support the needs of the department.
- Be a key partner to, and customer of on-site managers and their teams to ensure on-site success for each event.
- Work very closely with senior leaders to deliver all event and experience related services with the utmost level of customer service and attention to detail
- Build strong internal relationships with Glassdoor employees, to foster a positive employee experience and help drive our strategy, plan events with purpose, and build connections across the organization.
- Prepare and manage event budgets, track expenses, and report on financial outcomes. Ensure events are delivered within budget without compromising quality.
- Provide outstanding service to both internal stakeholders and external participants. Focus on creating memorable and engaging experiences aligned with attendee expectations.
What You'll Bring:
- 3-4 years of successful event management experience planning events in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven success managing events of 350-750+ employees both on-site in offices and off-site via hotel venues or similar, and all operational aspects of an event program(venue selection, food and beverage, AV/IT requirements, branding, communications, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, financial planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent at building cross-functional relationships, customer service, and collaboration.
- Exhibit strong analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills. A proven creative thinker with a problem-solving approach.
- Extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer-focused mindset and commitment to high service standards.
- Proactive at communicating change and evaluating risk
- Comfort using Zoom features like breakout rooms, polls, and webinars.
- Commercial experience in Google suite
- Ability to travel as required for events

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range*: $100,509 - 133,489
- Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
Annual Bonus Target**: 10%
- Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews
Generous Restricted Stock Units (RSU):
- Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, RSU grant awards are presented bi-annually to exceptional performers.

Being a remote-first company, Glassdoor employees can live anywhere Glassdoor is a registered company. Requests to move must be approved by an employee's manager and the People team.
