Be Part of the Story as the (Project Hire) Associate, North America Brand Commercialization! This role provides support in the execution of franchise strategy and vision across Disney Consumer Products. DCP is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that extends the Disney brand to merchandise ranging from apparel, toys, home décor and books to interactive games, food and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art.
This role reports to the Sr. Manager, North American Brand Commercialization.
This is a 12 month Project Hire position without any guarantee of permanent placement.
What You Will Do:
Marketing Approval Process
- Manage the process by which Licensees submit marketing collateral materials to Disney for review and approval
- Own the Online Product Approval (OPA) system to process marketing collateral approvals
- Employ a very detail-oriented lens to review and approve the majority of these marketing submissions independently
- Use excellent judgment to understand when marketing needs to be flagged for additional review to team members or functional partners.
- Route/manage OPA/Marketing submissions including TV spots, in-store creative, trade communications and more
Franchise Development
- Support business updates for internal and external partners by coordinating data collection, product images, etc.
- Help manage global retail clearances for IP and retail programs
Partners
- Develops relationships with internal stakeholders
- Help support marketing and franchise review process with content partners including submissions, feedback capture and implementation
- Assist in sourcing additional assets, marketing materials, or information from cross functional partners
Communication and Sales Tools
- Support development, maintenance and distribution of franchise tools including Fact Sheets, pitch decks, Hot Sheets, sizzles, content calendars, and film-related presentations
- Support tailored pitch deck development for retail, trade shows and large meetings
- Support PR needs via asset support, routing support, fact checking, and product details
- Support marketing initiative development tied specifically to retail and licensing initiatives
General Support
- Team meeting coordination including Agenda generation, recap notes/action steps, follow ups
- Develop and maintain collection of samples for various needs
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years of related experience
- Solid presentation skills and able to address both internal and external partners in a compelling way

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
