As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for driving strategic business opportunities by focusing on targeted, high-value accounts. Your primary objective is to build top of funnel opportunities within our target account list for North America and EMEA. The role includes researching potential accounts, ICPs, identifying key decision-makers, making initial contact, writing custom content to personalize outreach to the business and ICP and qualifying leads. Working closely with our marketing and sales teams, you will also help to implement effective email campaigns, content creation, sales strategies, and support attendance at Silent Eight events.
Responsibilities
TARGET ACCOUNT RESEARCH
- Conduct thorough research on assigned target accounts to gather insights on their structure, business objectives, challenges, and relevant decision-makers.
- Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other databases to identify key executives and stakeholders within these accounts.
- Stay updated on key market trends, industry news, and developments that may affect the target accounts' strategic priorities.
LEAD IDENTIFICATION & CONTACT
- Identify key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within the target companies, focusing on individuals who drive strategic initiatives.
- Use cold email, cold calling, and networking to initiate contact and build relationships with key leads.
- Develop personalized outreach strategies and content to engage each account effectively and position Silent Eight's solutions as ideal for their needs.
PRE-QUALIFICATION OF LEADS
- Engage potential customers to understand their needs, budget, and timelines.
- Qualify leads based on fit and intent, ensuring that only high-potential prospects move forward in the sales process.
- Provide regular updates on lead quality and progression to sales teams.
COLLABORATION WITH MARKETING & SALES
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to create and implement email campaigns and outreach strategies tailored to target accounts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support event attendance, including self-hosted events, by executing outreach campaigns to potential attendees.
EVENT OUTREACH SUPPORT
- Assist in promoting and driving attendance for company-hosted events, webinars, and other initiatives by reaching out to target accounts.
- Use outreach tools and strategies to ensure key stakeholders are aware of and attend relevant events.
- Track the success of outreach efforts in our CRM, measuring engagement at events.
- Maintain detailed records of all communications with leads and prospects in Salesforce.
- Regularly update account progress, outreach results, and engagement metrics to track overall performance against targets.
- Provide insights into account progress and make recommendations for strategic adjustments.
Key Skills
- Strong research abilities to identify high-value accounts and key decision-makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in creating engaging and personalized outreach.
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders through cold email, cold calls, and networking.
- Ability to pre-qualify leads effectively and communicate potential opportunities to the sales team.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside marketing and sales teams.
- Proficient in using Salesforce and lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and others.
Experience Required
- 2+ years experience in B2B business development, sales, or account management.
- Experience in using Salesforce for managing and tracking leads and accounts.
- Experience in the tech or SaaS industries.Experience in account-based marketing (ABM) or target account-based strategies.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing email marketing campaigns.
- Experience in the financial crime industry is a significant plus.
- Must reside in the EST timezone.
