Job Overview
VP, Marketing Forecasting & Effectiveness is responsible for driving marketing enablement, overseeing financial strategy, and leading process improvement initiatives within the marketing function. This leader ensures the effective utilization of resources through data-driven decision-making and optimization of marketing technology tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a strategic approach to planning, and the ability to advocate for and implement technological solutions to improve efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Financial Oversight and Strategic Planning:
- Responsible for the oversight of the total Marketing budget of $B
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners to forecast sales based on the media plan.
- Drive investment planning decisions that align with merchant strategies/plans and broader business objectives.
- Marketing Enablement:
- Lead media forecasting efforts, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency across all channels.
- Streamline processes to enhance marketing operations and team productivity.
- Own the marketing technology, overseeing its optimization and functionality.
- Analysis and Data:
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing mix strategies, campaign/event expenses, and their ROI.
- Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to enhance marketing performance and profitability.
- Process Improvement and Technology Advocacy:
- Lead initiatives focused on process improvements and production optimization.
- Serve as an advocate for marketing technology solutions, coordinating with necessary partners for software and hardware upgrades.
- Ensure marketing operations are streamlined and supported by the latest technology advancements.
- Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing executives
- Prove regular feedback, coaching and professional development opportunities
- Lead and manage change initiatives, ensure smooth transitions and providing the proper support to team members and cross-functional partners
- Cultivating a team culture of positivity, inclusivity and high employee engagement
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Finance highly preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of related finance/and or marketing experience.
- Strong leadership skills; minimum 7 years managing a team.
- Experience handling multiple channels, plans, or vehicles.
- Understands the marketing landscape.
Communication Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to present strategies to Senior Management.
Mathematical Skills
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills.

Physical Demands
