As Head of Brand Development, you’ll play a key role in supporting our SVP in creating and embedding strategic brand direction through partnerships with an exciting variety of our Virgin brands in the Americas and Asia Pacific regions. Our Virgin brands include the likes of Virgin Voyages & Virgin Hotels through to Virgin Wines and Virgin Experience Days.
You’ll proactively seek opportunities for driving commercial value and reducing brand risk, while aligning our North Star (Customer, Purpose, Capital) and brand admiration ambition.

- Support the SVP, Brand Development by engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders within our key Virgin companies accross the Americas and APAC regions.
- Proactively monitor, identify and execute across multiple value creation opportunities for the group while aligning our North Star and band admiration ambition.
- Directly influence and aid the development of regional brand strategies and their delivery through Virgin Companies, new brand development and growth initiatives.
- Provide brand leadership in the creation and execution of business development opportunities, establishing brand diligence capabilities across the broader team, and assisting in pinpointing brand-aligned opportunities and vulnerabilities.
- Direct account management of a portfolio of Virgin companies. Owning development plans for brands and achievement of these, whilst identifying future strategies and providing ongoing feedback and guidance.
- Supporting growth of Virgin brand in our core growth market, including driving ambitius growth goals for existing Virgin company portfolio and leading new pipeline initiatives
- Lead on key strategic projects that drive growth, including deep dives on CV/DX, customer journeys and segmentation.
- Foster partnerships and strengthen collaboration between Virgin companies and Virgin Red, through demonstration of their strategic importance.
What you’ll need
- You will have a broad background in marketing, not refined to one particular area. This will include a wide knowledge across brand, being fluent in brand strategy, design and customer and employee experience.
- You may be currently operating at a Director or Sr. Manager level in a Brand/Marketing role, or Account Director level in an agency.
- You’ll be able to demonstrate strong partner relationships including influencing at executive level.
- Demonstrable abilities in the creation of global and regional strategies.
- Demonstrable experience in supporting on all manner of strategic brand and operating projects.
- Experience managing loyalty and partnership programs an asset.
- A deep awareness/appreciation of the Virgin brand and culture
- A strong understanding of digital marketing, digital processes and product development in web or app would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, with a focus on growth and marketing performance management.

Salary: $150-175k USD plus bonus
