Primary Functions:
The primary functions of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator are to provide strong writing and communication skills in the form of crafting content for email blasts, case studies, white papers, web content, publications, collateral pieces, and advertisements; manage social media and video efforts; measure the efficacy of these communications; and provide general Marketing support.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and implements marketing and communications projects.
- Supports the planning and execution of trade shows, special events and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging.
- Creates consistent themes, messaging, and branding in all communication touch points, including advertising and social media.
- Analyzes and interprets marketing and communications data to support BNSF Logistics marketing and communications strategy.
- Utilizes research and analysis to define market segments and assists with developing targeted messaging.
- Assists with the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and promotions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure product design, marketing strategy, and organizational goals are aligned.
- Create content for external uses, including press releases, website content, email blast copy, and advertising copy.
- Liaises with the media, vendors, and internal sales and product teams.
- Track projects and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
- Provide general Marketing and Communications support, as needed.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of fields of accounting, marketing, communications, business administration, etc.
- A four degree is required, preferable in marketing, communications, business administration, etc.
- 2+ years of related experience required.
- Previous marketing and communications projects experience is a plus
