Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled contractor to join our team as a Social Media and Events Coordinator. This role will focus on managing social media platforms, scheduling and coordinating virtual events, and handling basic data reporting tasks. You will primarily work on LinkedIn, creating and publishing engaging content, monitoring audience engagement, and analyzing performance metrics. Additionally, you will assist with event coordination, collaborating with stakeholders, managing schedules, writing event descriptions, and evaluating event outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Create, publish, and monitor LinkedIn posts based on team-provided themes and messaging.
- Analyze engagement metrics to assess content performance.
- Event Coordination:
- Align with stakeholders to schedule and manage virtual events.
- Write clear, engaging event descriptions and track event performance.
- Data Reporting:
- Upload data to CRM platforms and interpret basic analytics.
- Work with spreadsheets and CSV files for reporting purposes.
Required Skills:
- Copywriting: Proven ability to write engaging, professional content for LinkedIn and other social platforms.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience coordinating with stakeholders and managing event logistics.
- Critical Thinking: Capable of addressing challenges independently and making sound decisions with minimal guidance.
- Planning and Organization: Strong multitasking skills to manage social media, events, and data reporting simultaneously.
- Social Media Engagement: Familiarity with audience engagement metrics and reporting tools.
Desired Skills (Teachable):
- Design Tools: Basic Canva skills for creating visual assets (training available).
- Social Media Management Tools: Experience with LinkedIn backend and platforms like Sprout Social (can be taught).
- Event Management Platforms: Familiarity with tools like Bizzabo (training provided).
- Data Handling: Comfortable working with spreadsheets, uploading data, and interpreting simple analytics.
Qualifications:
- Experience Level: 1–5 years of relevant experience. Junior candidates are welcome if they are confident in their skills and responsibilities.
- Education: No formal education requirement; relevant skills and experience are more critical.
