What You'll Do
As a Marketing Assistant, you'll collaborate closely with our Director of Marketing to protect and grow the integrity of Village Gourmet's brands. From managing brand assets to supporting digital strategies and executing marketing plans, you'll play a key role in ensuring our brands remain top-of-mind for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and implementing the annual marketing plan. You'll work on retail efforts like trade shows, shopper marketing, email campaigns, sell sheets, and more.
Help maintain brand consistency by managing brand assets and coordinating with external partners to ensure alignment with our guidelines.
Support our ecommerce and social media strategies by helping with content creation, influencer partnerships, and monitoring performance metrics.
- Product Launches & Innovation:
Assist with the development of new products, including packaging, spec sheets, and marketing launch materials.
Help plan and execute events like samplings and brand activations to drive consumer engagement and visibility.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of marketing experience, ideally through internships or part-time work in the food or consumer goods industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, and analytics tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%) for market visits, facility tours, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Work Environment & Benefits
- Hybrid Schedule:Work from our Manhattan office 2 days a week with some flexibility.
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Overtime may be required depending on business needs).
