VP/SVP, Home Brands – New York, NY (Hybrid)
Marquee Brands is seeking an experienced, strategic brand management leader to oversee its Home Brands vertical, including the Martha Stewart, Sur La Table and Emeril Lagasse brands.

POSITION DETAILS
Reporting to Marquee’s Chief Commercial & Growth Officer, the VP/SVP, Home Brands will lead the Home category brand management team of four in maximizing opportunities with our brands’ licensing partners to develop and sell on-brand assortments of products for the Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse and Sur La Table brands.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and growth of the business by acting as the business leader over the business including direct, licensee management, merchandising ideas, and coordinating marketing activities.
- The VP/SVP will have P&L responsibility for the Home vertical and oversee corporate development within the Home businessincluding licensing, product development, retail distribution, e-commerce development, and execution.
- The VP/SVP will have influence on all contract and licensing negotiations, and agreements and rights management for all products, categories, and territories.
- The VP/SVP will work closely with the EVP, Culinary leader, the Home Marketing team and Marquee’s Partnerships team to support brand initiatives and growth across channels.
- Maintain brand integrity across all categories.
- Help licensees create a balanced assortment in terms of vision, quality, value, price point, style/SKU count and key item depth.Work with product partners to build an assortment that is brand appropriate.
- Recap and analyze all monthly deliverables, advise partners on suggestions, and follow through to make sure changes are implemented.
- Work with design teams to develop seasonal trends, highlighting color direction, key items and “must-haves”.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years’ experience in product, merchandising and marketing. Licensing experience is a plus. Home category experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Results oriented and creative; possess strong interpersonal, positive attitude, communication, and analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial personality, self-starter, thinks and acts like an owner and business leader.
- In-depth understanding of industry trends, the ability to translate them into innovative, relevant and fashion-forward ideas.
- Strong market awareness exhibited through knowledge of relevant brands and reference points.
- Clear communicator with the ability to present and support a point of view.
- Team player with the ability to provide leadership, training and motivation to employees and peers.
- Knowledge of basic financial principles and management and ability to analyze sales trends.
- Willingness to travel, including internationally.

Salary: $175,000 - $250,000
