Job Description:
Operating within the Global Brand Marketing Team, the Lifestyle Brand Marketing team drives and leads marketing strategy for an exciting portfolio of brands. As a Manager, Global Brand Marketing, you will contribute to the success of the team by supporting the brand marketing Senior Director and Senior Manager in the development and execution of marketing strategies and activities that drive brand health and commercial performance for Lifestyle brands.
Through a deep understanding of consumer trends and business results, you will help develop and refine brand positioning, marketing strategies and integrated marketing plans. Additionally, you will partner with our Global Centers of Excellence to build above the line and below the line marketing strategies from creative development and execution to media planning and social media. These strategies will drive revenue, brand love and loyalty among existing customers, while also cultivating emerging traveler segments.
Responsibilities: - Assist and in some cases lead the development and implementation of marketing plans, strategies, and tactics, both long term and short term, to help achieve Brand commercial goals. With particular focus on social media and digital channels.
- Manage activities of internal and external agency partners to ensure on-time and on-strategy execution of high-impact brand marketing, including crafting clear briefs and providing strategic feedback during creative reviews.
- Manage cross-functional projects to support brand marketing objectives.
- Manage photo and video shoots in support of business and/or marketing objectives.
- Support new opportunities to drive awareness, attract and retain specific target customer groups to our Lifestyle brands.
- Enable a growing portfolio of hotels to market themselves locally by supporting the creation of centralized tools and resources aligned with established brand identity guidelines.
- Partner with Brand Management team and cross-functional brand operating partners to help implement Brand positioning across the organization and global portfolio of properties.
- Help identify and interpret core research, analytics, and metrics to inform consumer trends, drive efficiency of marketing executions, and develop strong, engaging creative.
- Monitor success and opportunities for improvement in a test-and-learn environment to improve return on investment.
- Collaborate with key partners, and actively handle business partners at all levels across the enterprise, with a focus on Owners, Category, Global Brand Heads and cross-functional teams within the Marketing and Loyalty organization.
- Present findings and recommendations with inspiring visuals, persuasive communication, and touches that adapt the information to make it concise and relevant for each audience.
- Manage a significant marketing budget, including ratio of working to non-working dollars and monthly/quarterly forecasting.
- Participate in category and department-wide initiatives and represent the brands in task forces and interdepartmental efforts as needed.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express complex ideas, make recommendations and summarize results and areas of opportunity (both verbally and written)
- Passionate about using consumer trends to power marketing impact and innovation
- Accomplished in building positive relationships across a matrixed organization
- Proven success working on multiple projects simultaneously from inception through completion
- To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Seven (4) years of experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, or related field
- Three (2) years of experience working with and providing strategic direction to agency partners
- Experience crafting distinctive consumer campaigns (digital and social experience)
- Experience executing marketing campaigns in digital and social channels
- Experience leading the development of strategic briefs to support business and marketing objectives
- Experience managing complex projects and initiatives
- Experience managing photo and video shoots
- Experience managing a multi-million-dollar budget
- Experience working across multiple brands within a portfolio simultaneously
- Willing and able to travel as needed, up to 20%, domestically and internationally
Qualifications:- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
- Marketing experience within the hospitality or consumer goods industry
- Knowledge of franchise organizations and/or experience working within a franchise organization
- Experience working in a large, matrixed organization
- Experience working on a global brand and/or within a global company
