GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Naterra is looking for an experienced and talented Director of Brand Marketing who will play a crucial role in leading the Tree Hut brand and creative marketing initiatives. This position requires strong strategic leadership, effective team management, campaign development, and experience with CPG marketing. By setting and upholding powerful and stringent brand guidelines, this role ensures consistency across all marketing materials, product packaging, and visual merchandising.
Please note that the person in this role will be required to work in-office at our Coppell or Alliance location 5-days per week. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning and market presence.
- Identify white space opportunities, trends, expansion areas and a strong product innovation pipeline for brand’s profitable success.
- Execute brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Drive product launch process end-to-end from briefing through execution working cross-functionally with product development, digital marketing, creative, and sales.

- Lead the development of communication platforms and creative via briefings, workshops, and agency collaboration
- Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns and experiential marketing.
- Collaborate with creative, content, external agencies, and digital marketing teams to produce high-impact brand assets.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data to inform strategy and improve results.
- Oversee and supervise deliverables throughout the campaign life cycle, from research to planning to execution, tracking and optimization.
- Oversee the brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., product development, creative, digital and sales) and external partners (e.g., agencies, vendors) to execute marketing initiatives.
- Support internal teams to ensure understanding and alignment of objectives and strategy, budget, and agreed-upon scope.
- Provide leadership to direct reports including coaching, development and strategic/tactical direction, serving as an inspiring mentor and role-model to team members.
- Report on key metrics and outcomes to senior leadership.
- P&L and budget management.
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in brand management in fast moving consumer packaged goods environment and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, working with speed and agility.
- Experience managing cross-channel marketing planning and execution.
- Comfortable managing and influencing cross-functional teams such as brand marketing, ecommerce marketing, social media, creative designers, and copywriters, effectively communicating the business and creative objectives of projects
- Strong team development practices, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- MUST love and be curious about data analytics and how that affects the bottom line.
- Start-up DNA: Willing to roll up sleeves, do foundational work and test new approaches. Able to deftly prioritize. Comfortable with ambiguity – unhindered by change and uncertainty and can methodically work through complex problems
- Experience in financial analysis and strong skillset in P&L, SOI, and Budget management
