Position Overview
Lead SureStart's marketing and brand strategy, driving our mission through innovative marketing initiatives, compelling storytelling, and data-driven growth strategies. As a key member of the team, you'll shape our market presence while building and scaling our marketing operations from strategy through tactical execution.
Core Responsibilities
Brand & Product Marketing Leadership
- Define and execute SureStart's brand strategy, elevating our position in the AI education space
- Leverage our visual content platform to develop data-driven insights that inform brand storytelling and market positioning
- Drive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and optimize our go-to-market approach
- Own the evolution of our corporate identity, including website redesign and brand refresh initiatives
Marketing & Growth Operations
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, paid media, events, content)
- Manage paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms to drive targeted growth
- Craft and submit speaking& award submissions to drive brand visibility
- Create and implement product marketing strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth
- Lead product launches and feature releases, working closely with Product and Business Developmentteams
- Build and optimize our marketing tech stack to enable scalable growth
- Oversee social media strategy and integration with broader marketing initiatives
Digital Marketing & Performance Analytics
- Own and optimize the corporate website, ensuring content accuracy, functionality, and brand alignment
- Drive SEO strategy through keyword research, content optimization, and technical improvements
- Collaborate with web developers on advanced website updates and troubleshooting
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and other tools
- Implement and maintain marketing automation systems and workflows
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all marketing initiatives
- Provide regular reporting on campaign performance and ROI
- Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and others to drive data-informed decisions
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
Content & Community Development
- Spearhead our content strategy, including thought leadership, sales enablement materials, and customer/studentsuccess stories
- Develop and manage content calendars across all platforms
- Launch and manage our flagship podcast program, establishing SureStart as a thought leader in AI education
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and customer advocacy programs to amplify our market presence
- Create compelling case studies and testimonials that showcase our impact
- Oversee content repurposing across channels to maximize reach and engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred
- 6+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrable success in B2B technology or education sectors
- Proven track record of building and scaling marketing operations in high-growth environments
- Deep expertise in digital marketing platforms, SEO tools, and analytics (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Proficiency in CMS platforms and marketing automation tools (WordPress, HubSpot, Mailchimp)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellence in strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in AI, education technology, or workforce development preferred
- Working knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus
