Happy Brands is seeking an innovative and results driven Brand Manager of Marketing and Communications to lead and execute seasonal marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, retailer/trade marketing activations, influencer marketing, as well as collaborate with the brand’s organic social media lead to promote social initiatives across portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and a passion for bringing a creative approach to campaigns. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, impactful brand messaging that drives engagement and growth. The Brand Marketing Manager will manage at least one individual and report to the Head of Brand Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Seasonal Marketing Campaigns
- Develop and manage strategic seasonal marketing plans to support business goals.
- Collaborate with creative, product, and merchandising teams to ensure campaigns reflect brand positioning and resonate with target audiences.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns, from ideation to delivery, for non-digital channels and partner with digital and ecommerce teams to ensure the campaigns are executed as planned across all channels.
Influencer Marketing
- Oversee and manage a curated list of paid brand ambassadors through seasonal campaign brief development and content management through our Grin platform.
- Identify and negotiate new partnerships with key influencers during critical campaign moments to support key initiatives.
- Manage affiliate marketing campaigns for the brand’s ambassador program.
Advertising
- Assist with the development of brand advertising campaigns for use in digital (social, display, search, etc.) and traditional (TV, radio, print) channels.
- Partner with media and creative agencies to ensure effective message delivery, media buying, and creative assets.
- Monitor and analyze advertising performance, making recommendations to enhance reach, engagement, and return on investment (ROI).
Public Relations and Brand Communications
- Manage external PR agency partners to ensure that the team is focused on delivering the right key messages by seasonal campaign.
- Develop seasonal campaign messaging frameworks for integrated marketing team usage.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Organize events, presentations, and other promotional activities to showcase Happy Brand’s innovations.
Organic Social Campaigns
- Develop and implement organic social media strategies to drive brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement.
- Collaborate with content creators, influencers, and internal teams to produce compelling, brand aligned content for all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Stay up to date on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to optimize content and engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
- Regularly measure and report on the performance of seasonal campaigns, affiliate marketing efforts, and social media activity.
- Use data and insights to refine and improve future campaign strategies.
- Prepare detailed performance reports to present to senior leadership, showcasing the success and learnings of each initiative.
